Mike Toney is an Illustrator and Creative Director who has been in love with anime from the time he could remember — beginning with series like Escaflowne, Hunter x Hunter, and Yu Yu Hakusho. As a freelance artist, Toney has done work for Cartoon Network directors, Sony Pictures, and promotional material for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther (2018). Toney aspires to tell unique black stories that uplift and inspire his community.
